From Ravenna to the Po

From the Po to Chioggia

From Porto Tolle, near Lido delle Nazioni, you can take a ferry across the Po Delta, one of Italy’s most important nature reserves, known for its fauna and flora. It is a paradise for nature lovers, especially birdwatchers. Once you arrive in Chioggia, you can explore one of the most characteristic lagoon cities. Its calli and canals are reminiscent of Venice, but with a quieter and more authentic atmosphere.

Islands of Venice

From Chioggia you can take a ferry to Pellestrina, a thin, picturesque island in the lagoon. Here, riding along the bike path, you’ll pass small fishing villages, natural beaches and unspoiled green areas. Another short ferry will then take you to Venice Lido, where you can pedal along the shoreline and soak in the special atmosphere that characterizes this island.
